Foal Inspection- Available for foals born from two horses that have been inspected and approved for breeding
- Foal should be inspected before it reaches three years of age
- Judges a foal's potential for sport (includes a recommendation) and acceptability for breed standard
- Foals are judged on the following criteria, scores are 0-10 whole numbers:
- xx/10 Type
- xx/10 Frame
- xx/10 Conformation
- xx/10 Movement
- xx/10 Overall Impression
- Foals will be awarded the following awards:
- 40 and above, sire and dam approved for breeding - First Premium
- 30-39 (or above, with unapproved sire/dam) - Second Premium
- 20-29 - Third Premium
- To be accurately judged, foal pages must show:
- At least a conformation or walk/trot/canter
- Three generation pedigree (with breeds, preferrably with heights and colors as well)
- Details on the foal's expected mature height, color, and any exceptional markings (sabino, tobiano, etc.)
